Aramid fiber braided packing is made of continuous Dupon armid yarn impregnated with PTFE & processed with special high temperature lubricant. The strength of Aramid yarn is as high as steel. So this packing can resist more severe Medias & high pressure. Kevlar aramid packings are recommended to be used as end rings with other kind of packings to combine different characteristics into seals packing ring set.
APPLICATIONS
The high strength of the yarn and its abrasion resistance makes aramid fiber packing ideal for use with abrasive sand, slurry, gritty media, sludge & sewerage handling equipments. It is used in pulp and paper, chemical, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, sugar, food industries power plants, etc.
